Wolfram CALVET studied physics at the University Bayreuth and Ulm (Germany) and environment protection at the technical college of Nürtlingen (Germany). He did his PhD at the Hahn-Meitner-Institut Berlin (later HZB) on CuInS2 absorbers where he began working with synchrotron radiation. After  gathering industrial experience he came back to science and synchrotron techniques at TU Darmstadt (Germany). He works in the CISSY group at HZB since 2012 where he mainly focuses on XPS and UPS measurements on chalcopyrites.
