Researcher Scientist at Solar Energy Institute of the Technical University of Madrid (IES-UPM)

Dr. Ignacio Antón joined the Instituto de Energía Solar (IES) belonging to the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM) in 1998 and obtained his PhD in 2004 on the topic of Methods and equipment for the characterization of concentrating photovoltaic systems.  He is Associate Professor at UPM since 2004 and member of the Instruments and Systems Integration research group at IES. He has published more than 130 papers in scientific journals and international conferences, participated in the scientific committee of several international PV conferences and is member of the IEC working group 7 focused on the development of international standards related to CPV
