STEINER Marc
Research scientist at Fraunhofer ISE. Modeling and characterization of concentrator photovoltaic modules
Short Bio
Marc Steiner received a Diploma degree in physics from the Albert-Ludwigs-University of Freiburg in 2008. He joined the Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy Systems ISE in 2008 as a research scientist. He conducted his Ph.D. thesis "Energy Yield and Power Output Modeling for the Analysis of CPV Modules" together with the University of Oldenburg. In 2014 he began a postdoctoral position at Fraunhofer ISE and is responsible for the modeling and characterization of concentrator photovoltaic modules. His main areas of research are the modeling of III-V solar cells and the development of CPV modules. Furthermore, he is working on IEC62670 power rating procedure for CPV modules.
