Head of Group Material and Cell Analysis  @ Fraunhofer ISE

Martin C. Schubert studied physics with the University of Montpellier, Montpellier, France, and the University of Freiburg, Freiburg, Germany. He received the Diploma degree in physics from the University of Freiburg, in collaboration with Fraunhofer Institute of Solar Energy (ISE) Systems, Freiburg, in 2003. He was with the Freiburg Materials Research Center and received the Ph.D. degree in collaboration with Fraunhofer ISE from the University of Konstanz, Konstanz, Germany, in 2008. He has been a Scientist at Fraunhofer ISE since 2008. He is currently the Head of the group for material and cell analysis, which is focused on the characterization of silicon wafers and solar cells. His research interests include the development of novel luminescence-based analysis techniques and the study of impurities in solar cells.
