Jörg Kirchhof has studied electro techniques with the focus on radio frequency technology at the University of Kassel. In his diploma thesis he has worked on integrated planar antennas for mobile telephones at Ascom Tech in Switzerland. Since 1998 he is employed at the ISET / Fraunhofer IWES in the department “Engineering and Measurement Technology”. There he is involved in several research and development projects. His main topics are Electromagnetic Compatibility, Standardization, Measurement Technique, Analog Circuit Design. He was one of the designers of the ISET-mpp meters. In 2004 he took over the management of the accredited EMC laboratory.
